BET Awards 2010 Chris Brown Tribute to MJ

Touching performance by Chris. I hope this turns his career around. He needed to apologize to Rihanna, not the world. Just as she needed to apologize to him.  “They’ve” done a good job making the public bring him down.  Hope people realize that.

Remember what Michael stood for : love.  Chris Brown is one talented artist, and I for one, will not turn my back on him…

And of course, I had to include Prince, lol, my second favorite artist after MJ…

Radiohead frontman: Music industry on verge of collapse

hhhmmm , interesting. Yet the Michael Jackson estate signed on for a few more years with Sony… or did they? What was the real purpose of that?

Thom Yorke of Radiohead performs during ‘In Rainbows’ tour in 2008 in London.

Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke is warning the music industry is on the brink of collapse, insisting young musicians should resist signing record deals because the major labels will “completely fold” within months.

The British rockers broke away from their longtime label, EMI, in 2007 and went on to embrace the new digital era with the release their seventh album, In Rainbows, which they offered up over the internet and allowed fans to choose the price.

Yorke has now issued a warning to upcoming artists, urging them not to sign traditional record deals because they would be tying themselves to “the sinking ship.”

In an interview for a new high school textbook called The Rax Active Citizen Toolkit, which aims to inspire youngsters to become more politically literate, Yorke claims the music industry is on the verge of a major crisis and could collapse completely within “months”.

He says, “It will be only a matter of time – months rather than years – before the music business establishment completely folds. (It will be) no great loss to the world.”

Michael Jackson’s former lawyer has been found shot dead.

Peter Lopez – who was married to Dukes Of Hazzard actress Catherine Bach – was found at the couple’s home in California on Sunday (NZT).

A neighbour heard the shot, and Lopez, 60, was found by someone who was at the house. Police are not looking for anyone in relation to his death.

A spokesperson for Catherine – who played the character of Daisy Duke in the TV series – and the couple’s two daughters Sophia and Laura said: “The Lopez Family has suffered a tragic personal loss. Catherine and the girls ask for your prayers.”

Lopez had been late King Of Pop Michael’s lawyer since 2006 when he was appointed by the singer’s former general manager, Raymone Bain, to re-organise his business affairs.

Raymone said: “I’d known Peter for 20 years, I can’t think of a nicer individual. He was a good guy. I’m just so shocked.”

Lopez also represented artists including The Eagles, Andrea Bocelli and Michael Buble.

The law firm where Lopez was a co-founder, Kleinberg Lopez Lange Cuddy and Klein also spoke of their shock.

Wesley Snipes Wants Michael Jackson to Return as Angel

Author : Bang Posted: April 9, 2010

Wesley Snipes wants Michael Jackson to come back as an angel.

The ‘Blade’ actor, who appeared in the late singer’s ‘Bad’ video in 1987 – was devastated when he died last June at the age of 50 and would like him to return because he was so special.

He said, “I danced in the video for ‘Bad’. His death was a great loss for all of us. And I hope and pray that his creator – or whatever you believe in – will send him back as an angel to entertain us. With Michael we lost more than an ‘ordinary’ person. There has to be something angelic about someone who reached and inspired so many different people all over the world. Maybe we just didn’t look after him well enough.”

Another hero of Wesley’s is legendary soul singer James Brown, who died in 2006, and is currently working on a movie about his life.

He told website Skip.at, “We’re working on it. It’s on the way, but we are trying to figure out how to finance it at the moment. I guess I’ll give you James Brown when the world ends in 2012!”

The 47-year-old star is so keen to portray the ‘Sex Machine’ hitmaker in a realistic way, he has been practicing his famous scream.

He said, “That’s easy! I started as a dancer and singer and where I come from James Brown and Michael Jackson were very influential. We literally listened to them every day, so I can certainly do the screams.

Michael Jackson statue from India could grace Neverland

Calcutta News.Net
Friday 5th February, 2010 (IANS)

Over seven months after his death, Michael Jackson is etched in the hearts of millions of fans – and also in 12 feet of black granite that its maker plans to ship to the late king of pop’s Neverland Ranch in California.

The statue is drawing curious crowds at the ninth International Granites & Stone Fair being held in the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (AIEC), about 20 km from here.

‘It’s a personal tribute to the greatest pop singer of our times! He lives in our hearts as he was on stage for years,’ R. Chandrasekaran, managing director of RC Golden Granites Ltd, told IANS.

As a diehard follower of the American singer who died suddenly June 25 last year, Chandrasekaran, 40, plans to gift the 3.5-tonne statue carved out of black granite to Jackson’s estate in California.

Jackson’s sprawling estate is located at the Neverland Valley Ranch in Santa Barbara County. The rock singer lived there from 1988 to 2005.

‘I have written to Jackson’s family that I want to donate the statue for installing it in his famous estate. I will bear the freight charge, which is about $2,500,’ an elated Chandrasekaran said, while spectators thronged his company’s stall to touch and feel the legendary singer in awe.

The Chennai-based granite firm spent a whopping $25,000 (Rs.1.2 million) in sculpting the statue out of a single block of huge rock that was quarried from a mine near Kanakapura, about 50 km from Bangalore.

‘We employed six artisans to chisel the granite into Jackson’s shape in 45 days at our factory in Kancheepuram. As black granite is brittle, the aesthetic art work was a test of patience, diligence and skill. His face and eyes were the most challenging as we wanted the statue to be expressive and poignant,’ Chandrasekaran said.

The company plans to ship the statue to the US west coast by next month after the family’s consent in writing for securing clearances.

This is not the first time the four-year-old export firm has carved a statue for an icon, as it had sculpted a skeleton in black and white granite last year in aid of the campaign against smoking launched by former central health minister Anbumani Ramadoss.

‘We specialise in sculpting exquisite monuments, statutes and other artefacts carved out of granite rocks, which are the oldest geological formations on earth. All our creations are exported to European customers on order,’ Chandrasekaran noted.

The skeleton statute, seated on black granite and titled ‘Hell’s Preferred Citizen’, was displayed at the Granite Monument Stone Fair in February 2009 in Chennai and at a fair against tobacco products in Mumbai, March 2009.

‘The statue, dedicated to the anti-smoking campaign, has been installed at Nirman Bhavan in New Delhi where the health ministry is housed,’ Chandrasekaran noted.

As a music lover, Chandrasekaran also plans to create a statue dedicated to music maestro A.R. Rahman, who won two Oscars and two Grammys for the film ‘Slumdog Millionaire’.

‘We will take Rahman’s consent for making a granite statue in a pose and colour of his choice. At such a young age, he has brought so much fame and acclaim to our country from the world over,’ Chandrasekaran said.

Besides Jackson’s statue, the four-day expo during Feb 4-7 is showcasing a Taj Mahal and a statue of Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in granite created and displayed by other companies.

Remake of “We Are the World”

LOS ANGELES — When it came time to record the 25th-anniversary remake of “We Are the World,” the legendary African-famine relief benefit’s co-writer and producer, Lionel Richie, said he wanted to approach the project from a modern perspective. That might explain why none of the singers from the 1985 single were in the house for Monday night’s marathon sessions, which took place in the same studios where the original song was laid down.

Instead of Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Cyndi Lauper and the late Michael Jackson (whose previously recorded voice, however, will be heard on the tune), the 2010 version will be headlined by Justin Bieber, Lil Wayne, Wyclef Jean, Josh Groban and Will.I.Am. It features a newly penned hip-hop break written by the Black Eyed Peas leader that makes reference to the January 12 earthquake in Haiti, the victims of which will benefit from the song’s proceeds.

Among the rap artists making the cut for “We Are the World — 25 for Haiti” are T-Pain, Kanye West, Bizzy Bone, Kid Cudi, LL Cool J, Snoop Dogg, Drake, Mann, Nipsey Hussle, Busta Rhymes and Swizz Beatz.

And though rumored participants such as Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake were not in attendance, the sessions did feature a number of current stars such as Miley Cyrus, Keri Hilson and Best New Artist Grammy winner Zac Brown.

There were the requisite classic artists who pitched in, including Barbra Streisand; Carlos Santana; Natalie Cole; BeBe Winans; the members of Heart; Freda Payne; Harry Connick Jr.; Earth, Wind & Fire; the Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson and Al Jardine; Tony Bennett; “Slumdog Millionaire” film score composer A.R. Rahman; “American Idol” judge Randy Jackson; Patti Austin; Celine Dion and Gladys Knight. A few actors were in the studio (Jeff Bridges and Vince Vaughn), as well as the offspring of co-producers Lionel Richie and Quincy Jones, Nicole Richie and “Parks and Recreation” star Rashida Jones, and the members of 3T (the sons of Tito Jackson), Taj, Taryll and TJ Jackson.

Joel and Benji Madden were on hand, as were Akon, Brandy, Melanie Fiona, Mya, Musiq Soulchild, Katharine McPhee, Trey Songz, Faith Evans, “Heroes” actor Jimmy Jean-Louis (“the Haitian”) and former Michael Jackson guitarist Orianthi.

Also pitching in according to a press statement from organizers were the members of Sugarland, Jennifer Hudson, Jason Mraz, India.Arie, Mary Mary, Tyrese Gibson, Raphael Saadiq, Pink, Jordin Sparks, Rob Thomas, Usher, the Fray’s Isaac Slade, child prodigy pianist Ethan Bortnick, Enrique Iglesias, Robin Thicke, Jamie Foxx, Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, the Jonas Brothers, Nicole Scherzinger and Julianne Hough.

Co-producer Richie said that Janet Jackson would be laying down her version of Michael Jackson’s part on Tuesday, and he hinted that some other artists might also be added over the next few days.

Joe Jackson Gunning to Sue Over MJ’s Death

Posted Jan 29th 2010 6:13PM by TMZ Staff

Michael JacksonJoe Jackson is trying to force UCLA to hand over all of their medical records on Michael Jackson — because daddy is looking to sue whoever is responsible for killing his son … according to documents obtained by TMZ.

TMZ has obtained documents that Joe filed today in L.A. County Superior Court — in which he claims, “The UCLA records will permit [Joe] to determine with medical experts and then present to this court, how much support [Joe] needs to pay for the prosecution of his wrongful death action against those responsible for his son’s death.”

Michael was transported to UCLA on June 25, 2009 — where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Joe says in the documents that Michael was already dead when he arrived at UCLA so there is no physician-patient privilege for a dead man.

Joe Jackson filed the papers in the Michael Jackson estate case — responding to the Estate’s opposition to Joe’s motion for Michael’s medical records. Joe claims the estate has refused to file a wrongful death lawsuit on his behalf and it is costing him money.

According to his legal docs, Joe thinks the medical records will show what really happened to Michael, and that will help Joe determine how much he’d be able to collect from those responsible for Michael’s death.

Prince and Paris to accept life achievement award for MJ

Michael Jackson’s children to take stage at awards

  • Michael Jackson’s two older children expected to accept Grammy lifetime award Saturday
  • Children have been out of public eye since appearance at memorial service in July
  • Father Joe Jackson, mother Katherine Jackson still involved in money issues

Los Angeles, California (CNN) — Michael Jackson’s two eldest children are scheduled to take the stage this weekend to accept the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award for their father, Jackson family sources said.

It would be the first public appearance for Prince Michael, 12, and Paris, 11, since their dramatic appearance at the memorial service 12 days after their father’s death.

“The whole world is waiting to see these children blossom,” said Brian Oxman, a lawyer for Joe Jackson.

Two sources close to the family said the youngest, 7-year-old Blanket, was not expected to appear, although they suggested that might change.

Contrary to some media reports, the sources said there was no plan for the children to sing or dance at the show.

The Recording Academy, which presents the Grammy Awards, will honor the late pop star with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Special Merit Awards ceremony Saturday evening in Los Angeles.

Video of the presentation is likely to be included in Sunday night’s musical tribute to Jackson during the Grammy telecast, the sources said.

While Katherine Jackson, Michael’s mother, is expected to attend, Joe Jackson, his father, decided not to go because of his anger over the behind-the-scenes talks that led to the agreement to have the children accept the award, family sources said.

The decision came just this week, after Katherine Jackson, the legal guardian of the children, complained to Grammy producers that no family members had been invited, the Jackson sources said.

Two sources in the family said that she was initially told by producers that the estate’s special administrators would decide who would take part in the Jackson tribute.

“Can you believe this crap?” one source quoted Joe Jackson as saying when he heard that.

The Grammy producers have not responded to a CNN request for comment.

A spokesman for the estate administrators said the matter was for Grammy producers to decide.

“Why is a stranger making family decisions?” asked Oxman, the lawyer who is representing Michael Jackson’s father in a legal battle with the administrators.

Oxman said those administrators have disconnected the Jackson family from any decisions involving Michael Jackson’s legacy.

Oxman was in a Los Angeles court Thursday where a judge set May 26 as the date he will hear testimony in Joe Jackson’s request for a monthly allowance from his son’s estate. Joe Jackson, 80, said he depended on his son’s financial support for years before his death.

The administrators, lawyer John Branca and former music executive John McClain, contend he has not shown how he was “actually dependent” on Michael Jackson.

The estate lawyers said the expenses Joe Jackson wants covered by the estate — including vacations, air travel, assistants and legal fees — are not reasonable. They also noted that while Jackson’s mother and three children were named as beneficiaries in his will written in July 2002, Joe Jackson was not.

Joe Jackson is challenging the validity of that will, which names Branca and McClain as executors, but so far the court has refused to hear his arguments.

The judge overseeing probate of the will already awarded $60,000 in monthly support for the three children and $26,000 a month for Katherine Jackson, starting from June 25, 2009, the day Michael Jackson died.

CNN has learned that Katherine Jackson has not received any of the money ordered for her because of a judgment in a lawsuit nearly two decades ago.

A South Korean newspaper, the Segye Times, sued Michael Jackson in 1990, claiming he failed to perform at a series of concerts they had already paid him for. The lawsuit also named Katherine Jackson, Joe Jackson and another one of their sons, Jermaine Jackson.

Michael Jackson’s lawyers reached an out-of-court settlement with the newspaper, but his parents and brother did not. When they failed to fight it in court, a California judge issued a $4 million summary judgment against them, which has now grown with interest to about $8 million, according to court papers.

Pepper Spray Fired on Hungry Haitians

Chaotic scramble as UN peacekeepers fire pepper spray on thousands of hungry Haitians waiting for food

By Mail Foreign Service

Thousands of hungry Haitians spilled into the streets defeating barbed wire and a tiny contingent of blue-helmeted UN peacekeepers distributing food.

The chaotic scene unfolded outside the wrecked presidential palace in Port-au-Prince where aid agencies struggled to control 4000-strong mass of desperate Haitians, two weeks after the devastating earthquake struck.

Security forces fired pepper spray into the air in an effort to disperse the thousands of men, women and children jostling for food.

As the overwhelmed soldiers finally retreated, people rushed forward to grab sacks of pinto beans and rice, emblazoned with the U.S. flag.

A vomiting pregnant woman, still gesturing at her mouth to show hunger, was carried off by UN troops after collapsing out of the crush of bodies.

Soldiers had done their best to prepare for the crowds. They erected barbed wire, cutting off the street from the sprawling tent city.

Troops then ordered people to line up in four queues, 20 yards form where the food was to be dumped.

Two trucks were parked between the people and food, while a UN armoured car was on guard to the side.

But even the peacekeepers armed with batons and riot shields could not hold back the agitated crowds.

Every time a soldier fired a warning shot the crowds jumped back just for a moment, and then pushed forward again screaming.

The episode came two days after similar scenes in the Point Rouge area, when Brazilian U.N. peacekeepers were forced to fire flash grenades and pepper spray to dissipate an unruly crowd.

‘Due to insufficient strength of military personnel providing security in the site of the distribution, the population tried to loot, putting the lives of the military personnel and the (World Food Program) members in danger,’ according to an internal Brazilian UN report.

With thousands left without food after the melee, president Rene Preval called for more tents for the homeless who are spread across empty lots, parks and plazas in the hundreds of thousands.

In the surrounding Champs de Mars plaza, Haitians were living out in the open, many with nothing more than a plastic sheet to protect them from sun and rain.

‘We live like dogs,’ said Espiegle Amilcar, 34. ‘We’re sleeping, eating and going to the bathroom in the same place.’

The global agency supplying tents said it already had 10,000 stored in Haiti and at least 30,000 more would be arriving.

But the International Organization for Migration said: ‘The supply is unlikely to address the extensive shelter needs.’

Meanwhile as Haiti’s mobile phone system began working again, thousands of voicemails and texts from people trapped in the ruins were heard and seen for the first time.

Survivor Rene Emile, 32, cried when she read the text from her husband Peter who was on training course in the capital when the building he was in collapsed.

He wrote: ‘Send help, we are still alive. May the Lord bless you and keep you, his face shines upon you. I love you.’

Mrs Emile told the The Sun: ‘This is all I have left of my husband. Some words on a cellphone screen. This is all there is and it arrived too late.’

Discrimination against “unreliable” workers

Employer told not to post advert for ‘reliable’ workers because it discriminates against ‘unreliable’ applicants

By Ryan Kisiel and Andrew Levy
Last updated at 11:26 AM on 27th January 2010

When it comes to hiring staff, there are plenty of legal pitfalls employers need to watch out for these days.

So recruitment agency boss Nicole Mamo was especially careful to ensure her advert for hospital workers did not offend on grounds of race, age or sexual orientation.

However, she hadn’t reckoned on discriminating against a wholly different section of the community – the completely useless.

Nicole MamoNicole Mamo, director of Devonwood Recruitment was stunned when a job centre in Thetford, Norfolk, said she could not include the phrase ‘reliable and hard working’ in her advert

When she ran the ad past a job centre, she was told she couldn’t ask for ‘reliable’ and ‘hard-working’ applicants because it could be offensive to unreliable people.

‘In my 15 years in recruitment I haven’t heard anything so ridiculous,’ Mrs Mamo said yesterday.

‘If the matter wasn’t so serious I would be laughing out loud.

Job CentreThe Job Centre in Thetford, Norfolk, said the advert discriminated against unreliable people

‘Unfortunately it’s extremely alarming. I need people who are hardworking and reliable – and I am pleased to discriminate in that way. If they’re not then I really can’t use them. The reputation of my business is on the line.

‘Even the woman at the jobcentre agreed it was ridiculous but explained it was policy because they could get sued for being dicriminatory against unreliable people.

‘She told me they’d had lots of problems with people taking them to court for adverts stating something like “would suit school leaver”.’

Mrs Mamo, 48, of Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, runs Devonwood Recruitment, which supplies hundreds of cleaners, caterers and porters to hospitals across the country.

She filed the advert for a £5.80-an-hour domestic cleaner at a hospital in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, through the Jobcentre Plus online service last Thursday.

However, when she rang the nearest branch in Thetford, Norfolk, to make sure details would be available to jobseekers who turned up in person, she was transferred to a woman who said the wording was unacceptable.

Enlarge   advert The ‘offensive’ advert which Job Centre Plus allowed on the website but not on the instore display

Mrs Mamo, a divorced mother of two, added: ‘I had to battle to have “must speak English”, which they also said was discriminatory.

    Pugh cartoon

‘In the end, I had to write “must speak English due to health and safety reasons” because they’re dealing with hazardous materials.’

The diktat was widely criticised yesterday. A spokesman for the Campaign Against Political Correctness said: ‘This is absolutely ridiculous.

‘Of course people want reliable workers and employers should be able to ask for them. If they can’t advertise for what they want then the system is broken.’

The Equality and Human Rights Commission added: ‘This is in no way in breach of any discrimination law.

‘Mrs Mamo should consider very unreliable any advice that she may have received implying that this aspect of her advert was discriminatory.’

Yesterday the Department for Work and Pensions said it could not comment on the conversation Mrs Mamo had with the member of staff at Thetford.

However, a spokesman insisted her original advert had run on the Jobcentre Plus website and on computer terminals in branches.

She added: ‘Reliability is important to employers and we welcome ads seeking reliable applicants.’

    Ancient civilation in the Amazon

    Ancient civilization discovered in Amazon

Tuesday, 26 January 2010 18:39 Acharya S World News Archaeology, Archaeoastronomy

lost amazonian brazilian city civilization rainforest jungle brazil amazonLost Amazonian civilization under Brazilian rainforest (Photo: Antiquity)

A fascinating find has come from the tragic loss of Brazilian rainforest, making some lemonade out of that lemon. Of course, what this discovery of a long lost Amazonian civilization means is that there have been other times when the forest was likewise not there, giving us hope that currently devastated areas can be regrown as well.

What this find also means is that those intrepid explorers of earlier times, such as Colonel P.H. Fawcett and many others, were correct in believing the natives, whose stories beginning centuries ago described not just one but many civilizations or cities lost in the massive rainforest as well as elsewhere in remote, overgrown parts of South America.

Evidence of Ancient Amazon Civilization Uncovered

As a result of the deforestation of the Amazon basin, a startling discovery has been made. Hidden from view for centuries, the vast archaeological remains of an unknown, ancient civilization have been found.

A study published in Antiquity, a British archaeological journal, details how satellite imagery was used to discern the footprint of the buildings and roads of a settlement, located in what is now Brazil and believed to span a region of more than 150 miles across….

According to Martti Parssinen, Denise Schaan and Alceu Ranzi, the authors of the study, the community likely had a population of more than 60,000 people. The researchers said they have only uncovered roughly 10 percent of the existing structures, which may date as far back as A.D. 800….

…British explorer Percy Harrison Fawcett claimed he had found evidence of an ancient civilization, which he called the City of Z, in the same area. He disappeared in the jungle on a 1925 expedition undertaken with his son and a companion…

The author of a book on this subject, David Grann, relates:

In cleared-away areas of the upper Amazon basin, researchers, using satellite imagery, have recently pinpointed a vast network of monumental earthworks, including geometrically aligned roads and structures, constructed by a hitherto unknown civilization.

According to a new report published in the journal Antiquity, the archeologist Martii Pärssinen and other scientists have documented more than two hundred and ten geometric structures, some of which may date as far back as the third century A.D. They are spread out over an area that spans more than two hundred and fifty kilometers, reaching all the way from northern Bolivia to the state of Amazonia in Brazil….

Over the past several years, however, there has been mounting evidence that nearly everything that was once generally believed about the Amazon and its people was wrong, and that Fawcett was in fact prescient.

None of this wondrous discovery would have come as a shock to various authors who decades ago recorded the stories of the natives and explorers. During that time time, however, mainstream archaeologists have frequently pooh-poohed these tales and ignored the whole astounding field. As we can see, times are changing.

Along with the evidence that he was first born in Kenya and there is no record of him ever applying for US citizenship, this is looking pretty grim. The news has created a firestorm at the White House as the release casts increasing doubt about Obama’s legitimacy and qualification to serve as President article titled, “Obama Eligibility Questioned,” leading some to speculate that the story may overshadow economic issues on Obama’s first official visit to the   U.K. In a related matter, under growing pressure from several groups,

Justice Antonin Scalia announced that the Supreme Court agreed on Tuesday to hear arguments concerning Obama’s legal eligibility to serve as President in a case brought by Leo Donofrio of New Jersey . This lawsuit claims Obama’s dual citizenship disqualified him from serving as president. Donofrio’s case is just one of 18 suits brought by citizens demanding proof of Obama’s citizenship or qualification to serve as president.

Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation has released the results of their investigation of Obama’s campaign spending. This study estimates that Obama has spent upwards of $950,000 in campaign funds in the past year with eleven law firms in 12 states for legal resources to block disclosure of any of his personal records. Mr. Kreep indicated that the investigation is still ongoing but that the final report will be provided to the U.S. attorney general, Eric Holder. Mr. Holder has refused to comment on the matter.

    Subject: RE: Issue of Passport?

While I’ve little interest in getting in the middle of the Obama birth issue, Paul Hollrah over at FSM did so  yesterday and believes the issue can be resolved by Obama answering one simple question: What passport did he use when he was shuttling between New York , Jakarta , and Karachi ?

So how did a young man who arrived in New York in early June 1981, without the price of a hotel room in his pocket, suddenly come up with the price of a round-the-world trip just a month later?

And once he was on a plane, shuttling between New York , Jakarta , and Karachi , what passport was he offering when he passed through Customs and Immigration?

The American people not only deserve to have answers to these questions, they must have answers. It makes the debate over Obama’s citizenship a rather short and simple one.

Q: Did he travel to Pakistan in 1981, at age 20?

A : Yes, by his own admission.

Q: What passport did he travel under?

A: There are only three possibilities.

    1) He traveled with a U.S. . Passport,

    2) He traveled with a  British passport, or

    3) He traveled with an Indonesia passport.

Q: Is it possible that Obama traveled with a U.S.

    Passport in 1981?

A: No.. It is not possible. Pakistan was on the U.S. State

Department’s “no travel” list in 1981.

Conclusion: When Obama went to Pakistan in 1981 he was

traveling either with a British passport or an Indonesian passport.

If he were traveling with a British passport that would provide proof that he was born in Kenya on August 4, 1961, not in Hawaii as he claims. And if he were traveling with an Indonesian passport that would tend to prove that he  relinquished whatever previous citizenship he held, British  or American, prior to being adopted by his Indonesian step-father in 1967.

Whatever the truth of the matter, the American people need to know how he managed to become a “naturalborn” American citizen between 1981 and 2008..

Given the destructive nature of his plans for America , as illustrated by his speech before Congress and the disastrous spending plan he has presented to Congress, the sooner we learn the truth of all this, the better.

If you Don’t care that Your President is not a  natural born Citizen and in Violation of the Constitution, then Delete this and go into your cocoon.

If you do care then Forward this!

    Chavez helps Haiti

Chavez writes off Haiti’s oil debt to Venezuela
    Irish Sun
    Tuesday 26th January, 2010

Caracas, Jan 26 (IANS/EFE) President Hugo Chavez has announced that he will write off the undisclosed sum Haiti owes Venezuela for oil as part of a regional bloc’s plans to help the impoverished Caribbean nation after the devastating Jan 12 earthquake.

‘Haiti has no debt with Venezuela, just the opposite: Venezuela has a historical debt with that nation, with that people for whom we feel not pity but rather admiration, and we share their faith, their hope,’ Chavez said after the extraordinary meeting of foreign ministers of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Americas, or ALBA.

He also announced that ALBA has decided on a comprehensive plan that includes an immediate donation of $20 million to Haiti’s health sector, and a fund that, Chavez said, will be at least $100 million ‘for starters’.

Oil-rich Venezuela is the economic heart of ALBA, which also includes Cuba, Bolivia, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Dominica, Antigua and Barbuda, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Haiti is among several countries that send observers to ALBA meetings.

Chavez said one part of ALBA assistance to Haiti would consist of fuel distribution via ‘mobile service stations’ set to be up and running within a few weeks.

The ALBA plan of aid for Haiti includes support for such sectors as agriculture, production, food imports and distribution, and immigration amnesty for Haitians living illegally in the bloc’s member-states.

Cuba and Venezuela sent assistance and aid workers to Haiti within days of the magnitude-7.0 temblor that left over 100,000 dead and 1.5 million people homeless.

Nancy Grace Must Appear on Camera for Depo

Nancy Grace will appear on video, and she’s none too happy about it.

Grace has been ordered to sit for a deposition on Thursday with a camera rolling .. according to a judge’s order obtained by TMZ.

Grace and CNN are being sued by the parents of a woman who committed suicide after appearing on Grace’s TV show. The parents claim Grace accused the woman of being responsible for the disappearance of her son.

The parents sued Grace and CNN for wrongful death, but Grace did not want her deposition taped because she feared clips would appear on TV and online, taking her out of context and splicing bits and pieces together to make her look bad — sound familiar?

The judge ruled that Grace’s depo can be videotaped, but the tape cannot be released to the media or anyone else without the court’s permission.

The judge said since the parents’ lawyer agreed not to release the video to third parties without court approval, there was no need to address “the evils” Grace complained of — that “disclosure of the videotape of Ms. Grace’s deposition” was designed to “harass, embarrass and intimidate Ms. Grace and corrupt the jury pool.”

The deposition will be taken in Atlanta on Thursday. Makeup!

Michael Jackson‘s landscaper has a tulip or two to pick with the estate — to the tune of $4,722.01.

    Michael jackson creditor's claim

Jose T. Mareque has filed a creditor’s claim against Michael Jackson’s estate, claiming he filled Michael’s home with trees, orchids, roses, poinsettias, tulips and other plants — only to be stiffed. It’s the same home where Michael died.

According to the invoices, Mareque did the work in December, 2008. He says the bill came to $14,722.01, and Michael’s people sent a check for $10,000 and that’s it.

Slight problem — the final invoice notes that the services were performed in December, 2009 — Michael had been dead for 6 months.

We called Mareque who said he didn’t know he had put the wrong year. But as we know, ignorance of the lawn is no excuse.

Mareque says he’ll file an amended creditor’s claim to correct the problem.

Work is expected to begin this year on a 100-acre Michael Jackson entertainment complex in Gary, Ind., that would include a museum, performing arts center, hotel, golf course and theme park inspired by the pop singer’s Neverland Ranch (such as the ride pictured above). “Everything is in the planning stages at this point, but we’re moving on a fast track, and we’re looking forward to actually breaking ground sometime in 2010,” said Odie Anderson, president of the Jackson family project in the pop singer’s hometown.

Anderson said the Indiana theme park would include rides found at Jackson’s 2,700-acre Neverland Ranch near Santa Barbara, Calif. It’s not yet clear whether the park would include all the same attractions. The $1 billion project would be built over 10 years, starting with the museum, arts center and hotel, then golf course and theme park.

    Digging up Michael

    Fight over Michael’s Body

The desperate doctor linked to Michael Jackson’s fatal prescription drug overdose is going to try to have the superstar’s corpse removed from his Forest Lawn Cemetery crypt, a top investigator predicts. Read all about it – only in GLOBE!

ast week the LA coroner finally concluded that Michael Jackson’s primary cause of death was from “acute intoxication” from propofol, which his private doctor, Dr Conrad Murray, admitted to administering to the late singer in an effort to treat his chronic insomnia.

Now, The Globe predicts that Dr Murray’s legal team may want to conduct a fourth autopsy by demanding Michael’s body be exhumed.

“As the seven-month-long investigation wraps up with Dr Murray clearly {} in the crosshairs, I’m sure his attorney’s are considering a number of last-ditch strategities, incuding digging up Jackson’s body,” says Ted Gunderson, a retired FBI Special Agent.

Recent reports say, Dr Murray will not be charged, however.

But if he is, Ted says the defense may also call into question the several other drugs Michael was taking and the doctors who prescribed those medications.

“Murray’s defense will likely suggest that propofol was the least of the singer’s problems….There’s so much damning evidence against Murray for the prpofol, but his lawyer could downplay that medication and point at other drugs and other doctors — anything to cast doubt in the minds of the jurors,” he adds.

A Jackson family insider tells the Globe, “digging up Michael would be absolutely outrageous” they should let the singer rest in peace.

Michael Jackson at this year’s Grammys?

Michael Jackson during rehearsals for his would-be ‘This Is It’ concert that turned into the most successful concert movie of all time.

Michael Jackson may have declined an appearance at last year’s Grammy Awards, but he’ll make it into this year’s program—in 3D, that is.

A star-studded production number has been planned for the Jan. 31 show that would bring back the late pop star, if not physically then at least in spirit, to the Grammy stage where he’s had stellar performances in the past—most notably a highly charged rendition of “Man In The Mirror” backed by a gospel choir in 1988.

Jackson had reportedly promised the show’s producers last year that he would make an appearance the following year. Hopes for a Jackson production number were dashed when the King of Pop suddenly died on June 25, 2009, just days away from flying to London to begin dress rehearsals for his would-be concert residency at the O2 Arena.

Grammys show producer Ken Elrich recalls meeting Jackson the night before he died to watch the “Earth Song” film clip that would have been used for the concerts. As it stands, the beautifully shot short film has become one of the two visual centerpieces that figured in the concert movie “This Is It” instead.

As a fitting honor to Jackson, the producers of the show rejected the notion of having other artists perform Jackson’s song. Instead, the 3D film of “Earth Song” with Jackson’s 3D image will be accompanied by performers such as Jackson friend and mentor Smokey Robinson and Jackson fan Usher; as well as Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, and Celine Dion, as reported.

This number could potentially be one of the most memorable to be put together by the Grammy Awards producers since this is the first time an awards show would feature 3D.

Reportedly, free 3D glasses will be distributed at Target stores from Jan. 26 until the day of the Grammys broadcast. Regular TV viewers, however, can watch the show “normally” without the glasses with slight softness on some of the shots.

The Los Angeles County coroner’s office determined Jackson’s death in June to be due to acute propofol intoxication. He was 50 years old.
