Dr. Conrad Murray is still the lone suspect in the death of Michael Jackson after state investigators announced today that seven other physicians will not be charged.
Attorney General Jerry Brown had launched a probe of seven other doctors who treated Jackson — mainly looking at the prescribing practices of the physicians.
One of the doctors on the list has been reported to the California Medical Board for prescribing drugs to an alias for Michael. That doctor was not named.
What??? Something weird going on….

Howard Mann, the guy who co-authored Katherine’s coffee table book, “Never Can Say Goodbye,” is also producing a movie that will feature video from Michael Jackson’s childhood through the end of his life.
We’re told Katherine has hundreds of hours of video, including the family’s big move from Gary, Indiana to L.A. after The Jackson 5 signed with Motown.
We’re told Mann just bought the rights to 26 hours of Michael Jackson video … owned by Michael Jackson’s former business partner/confidant Marc Schaffel. We’re told Mann has paid Schaffel in the eight figures for the video.
Now here’s the problem … the Michael Jackson estate has the exclusive right to market Michael Jackson’s name and image. We’re told Mann and company are comfortable with their legal position, because the beneficiaries of the estate — Katherine and Michael’s kids — are profiting participants in the movie. In fact, Mann tells TMZ he and Katherine plan on releasing a series of movies.
The estate would not comment, but as far as our research shows, there’s no loophole when it comes to marketing Michael Jackson’s name and image — whether Katherine and the kids are beneficiaries or not.

Katherine Jackson ‘Planning Michael Movies’
MICHAEL JACKSON’s mother KATHERINE is reportedly in negotiations to produce a number of movies documenting her late son’s life.
The Jackson family matriarch is said to be teaming up with her new business partner Howard Mann, who collaborated on her recently-released coffee table book, for a series of films about the King of Pop.
Mann has allegedly paid millions of dollars to Jackson’s former business partner Marc Schaffel for 26 hours of footage of the singer from his childhood to use in the movies.
The clips, along with Katherine’s extensive home-videocollection, will form the basis of the big-screen ventures, according to TMZ.com.
The movies won’t be Jackson’s first posthumous appearance in cinemas – his concert film This Is It was released last year (09) and has so far grossed more than $260 million (£173 million).
Katherine Jackson and Mann are also said to be negotiating record deals to release 273 unheard songs by the late singer.
What is happening with Katherine Jackson? We’re unsure of what to think lately… Man, I’d really hate it if people are screwing with her.

Katherine Jackson‘s quest for money may have just cost her dearly … because TMZ has obtained legal papers from a South Korean newspaper that is going after everything she makes … until she pays off a $13 million debt.
Segye Times, a South Korean newspaper, filed papers with the Michael Jackson estate, informing the court it got a judgment against Katherine in 1994 for $4 million. That’s when the newspaper advanced Katherine, Joeand Jermaine $5.5 million for a series of Jackson family concerts that never took place.
Segye claims with interest the judgment now exceeds $13 million, and it wants an order from the judge forcing the estate to pay Segye any money the estate might pay Katherine.
Now here’s how Katherine screwed herself. By making all the deals she’s been making — for books, gala events and such — she’s made it clear to the world her goal is to roll in dough and Segye has taken notice.

A stripper claims she was working at Sam’s Hofbrau in downtown L.A. the night before Michael Jackson died and saw Dr. Conrad Murray in the strip club, drinking … something Dr. Murray has flatly denied.
The stripper, who is shopping her story, claims Dr. Murray was at the club before midnight on June 24, 2009. She says after Jackson died … management told employees not to speak to anyone about it because “they didn’t want to be involved.”
The stripper says Dr. Murray was at the club several times in May and June. Sam’s Hofbrau is a couple of miles from Staples Center, where Michael Jackson had been rehearsing for his London concert that same evening.
Dr. Murray’s rep has previously said the doc was not at the club the night before Jackson died, adding that Dr. Murray does not drink.
Joe Jackson‘s lawyer, Brian Oxman, has sent Dr. Murray a notice of intent to sue for wrongful death. In those docs, obtained by TMZ, Oxman claims Dr. Murray was at the club, drinking, just hours before MJ’s death.

Katherine Jackson thinks the father of the boy who first accused Michael Jackson of molestation committed suicide because he knew the allegation was a lie and he had a guilty conscience … this according to the bookKatherine is about to release.
In the dedication to “Never Can Say Goodbye” — a copy of which we obtained before its release — Katherine says, “Evan Chandler, the father of Michael’s first accuser, recently committed suicide. Though I can’t comment on why, I want to believe his conscience finally caught up with him and he was not able to live with himself after destroying an innocent person’s career and breaking his spirit.”
Michael settled a civil suit with the boy for around $20 million.

Sunflowerguy.com just delivered 600 single-stemmed sunflowers with individual messages attached to them, along with 100 individual sunflower bouquets and 4,000 roses.
The flowers were dropped 100 yards from the mausoleum, because of construction on the grounds.

TMZ has learned Michael Jackson‘s family — minus his mom and his kids — will be making a trek to Forest Lawn Cemetery tomorrow at 11 AM, to pay their respects.
We’re told following the service, there will be a reception at a private estate in Beverly Hills — not too far fromwhere Michael was living a year ago when his heart stopped beating.
What in the world is going on with Katherine’s book and the tribute on June 26?? She did a video endorsing it, yet we get these conflicting news about it…
As for Murray, OF COURSE someone is backing him financially ! But who???

Dr. Conrad Murray won’t lose his Nevada medical license … because a fat-pocketed friend lent Murray nearly $16k to pay off his child support debt.
As we previously reported, Murray was behind on child support and under Nevada law the Medical Board can yank the license of a deadbeat dad doc.
We’re told Murray got a friend to ante up the cash … we do not know his/her identity.
Under the terms of the settlement, Murray will have to pay $1,103 a month to his baby mama to stay current.
And, we’re told, Murray has been getting financial help from a number of patients.

Michael Jackson’s estate is lashing out at the people behind a new MJ documentary set to debut in Japan tomorrow — claiming fans are being duped into believing the flick was authorized by Team MJ.
The estate has released a scathing statement claiming the movie is being promoted in a way that is misleading MJ’s fans into believing the film — shot by former MJ confidante Marc Schaffel — was properly authorized.
The estate also makes it clear it doesn’t endorse the flick and none of the profits will benefit MJ’s children. They also note that the movie is not allowed to contain any of Michael’s music.
Schaffel doesn’t appear to be bothered — the above photo was taken moments ago at the movie premier in Tokyo … where Schaffel took the stage and told fans Katherine Jackson sent along her best wishes.

The co-author of a new book on Michael Jackson has threatened to sue the Michael Jackson estate for allegedly trying to discredit the book.
Howard Mann ( center, along with Katherine and two others) — a businessman who has made money on nude online gambling and nude wrestling — hooked up with Katherine Jackson to create a coffee table book called “Never Can Say Goodbye.”
Estate lawyer Howard Weitzman told TMZ earlier this week, Mann had no right “to exploit any estate assets” and would take “whatever action is necessary to prevent him from unlawfully profiting.”
Mann’s attorney now tells TMZ, “The comments by the lawyers for the Estate of Michael Jackson are designed to create fear and ambiguity and may impede our ability to maximize the profits that Vintage Pop (the publisher) and the beneficiaries of the Estate are entitled to enjoy. These actions are torturous interference and will NOT be accepted and will result [in] litigation to recover the damages against our company.”
Weitzman tells TMZ, “The estate will continue to protect its assets when appropriate,” adding, “If Mr. Mann or his attorney want to communicate with me, they can contact me directly.”

The Michael Jackson estate and others have been asking … who’s behind an unauthorized MJ memorial set to go down Saturday night at the Beverly Hilton — now, there’s a smoking gun pointed at Joe Jackson.
As we previously reported, the bash is being thrown by a website called VoicePlate.com — but no one could identify the person responsible for pulling the strings. It’s also unclear who convinced Katherine Jackson to record that awkward, scripted promotional video for the tribute.
But now — a clue … and it all has to do with the featured entertainment at the MJ tribute … a band called the Chi-Lites — they had a couple of hits in the ’70s, including “Oh Girl” and “Have You Seen Her.”
If you recall, just days after MJ died … Joe Jackson shamelessly held a news conference to introduce his new business partner, Marshall Thompson … a member of the Chi-Lites.
Think it’s coincidence that the band got a brand new gig … at an MJ event?
Didn’t think so.

The Jackson family compound in Encino is gonna be locked down tighter than Fort Knox on the anniversary ofMichael Jackson‘s death … because we’re told the LAPD is preparing for an onslaught of MJ faithful.
According to the LAPD, there will be 30 to 40 officers — some uniformed, some undercover — patrolling a one block area around the Jackson home on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
We’re also told other precautions will be taken — including “no parking” signs around the house and a ban on all MJ merch sales in the area … the same rules that will be enforced at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The LAPD says 3,000 to 4,000 shirts were confiscated last year after Michael died — so you’ve been warned.

Jon Divens, the lawyer for the creditor, tells TMZ … Michael refinanced Neverland in 2007 and got $45,000,000. The lending company — Genesis Group International — claimed Jackson agreed to pay the Group 10% of the loan amount plus fees, totaling $4,580,000.
Genesis claims it made a demand for payment this year but never got paid.
There’s an interesting history with the guy who owns Genesis — Kevin Kinsey. In 2008, there were reports that Kinsey had falsely represented himself as a representative of MJJ Productions in an effort to secure funding to get the re-fi.
A source connected with the estate tells TMZ … without commenting on the merits of the claim, Genesis missed the deadline for filing a creditor’s claim.

A rep for Dr. Conrad Murray‘s defense team tells TMZ Joe Jackson‘s lawyer is flat-out wrong when he claims Dr. Murray was drinking at a strip club hours before Michael Jackson died.
TMZ broke the story … Joe Jackson’s lawyer, Brian Oxman, has served Murray with legal papers as a prelude to a wrongful death lawsuit. In those papers, Oxman claims Dr. Murray was at Sam’s Hofbrau — a strip club — on June 25, 2009, prior to treating Jackson.
The rep for the defense team tells TMZ Dr. Murray was not at a strip club when Oxman claims, nor was he there the night before. As the rep put it, “In the weeks before Michael died, Murray barely had time to take a shower.”
The rep also says Oxman got it wrong when he claimed Dr. Murray was drinking, because “He does not drink.”
As for whether Murray has ever frequented the club, the rep did not know one way or the other. But one of the waitresses at the club tells TMZ Dr. Murray was at the club sometime in June of last year. A stripper who works at the club tells TMZ she vividly remembers the night before Michael died because she’s a big MJ fan, and says, “It was dead that night. Dr. Murray definitely was not there.”
The club’s owner tells TMZ … at least twice in the last 6 months, a private investigator came to the club and asked various employees a bunch of questions about Murray and if they remembered seeing him at the club.
Interesting note — we’re told Quentin Tarantino liked Sam’s Hofbrau so much, he used it in the movie, “Jackie Brown.”

TMZ has obtained a copy of a legal document that Joe Jackson has sent to Dr. Conrad Murray — a prerequisite to filing a wrongful death lawsuit … in which Joe claims Dr. Murray had been drinking at a strip club hours before he allegedly administered a fatal dose of Propofol to Michael Jackson.
According to the document, “On June 25, 2009, prior to treating Michael Jackson, defendant was at a ‘strip club’ called ‘Sam’s Hofbrau’ in Los Angeles where he had been ‘drinking.'” The doc goes on: “It was reckless for him to ‘drink’ prior to administering anesthesia to Michael Jackson. He concealed his conduct from Michael Jackson.”
The doc, written by attorney Brian Oxman, outlines Murray’s treatment and the medical emergency that ended inMichael Jackson’s death.
According to the document, Michael had “neurological, pulmonary, and anemia signs over several weeks prior to his death. In May and June, 2009, Michael Jackson was confused, easily frightened, unable to remember, obsessive, and disoriented.” Oxman goes on: “He had impaired memory, loss of appetite, and absence of energy. He was cold and shivering during the summer rehearsals for his show …”
Oxman claims these problems were caused by Dr. Murray administering a “polypharmacy” of drugs (multiple meds) to Michael. And Oxman claims, Dr. Murray “ignored the signs of Michael Jackson’s pulmonary inflammation, brain swelling, and anemia.”
Oxman alleges Murray repeatedly lied about the drugs he administered to Jackson and withheld vital information from EMTs and doctors who were trying to save Jackson’s life. He repeated all of the alleged inconsistencies that have been previously reported.
Oxman says of Dr. Murray, “His conduct was inhuman. It was an extreme violation of the standard of care.”
We’re told Dr. Murray received a copy of the document in March. Dr. Murray’s legal team tells TMZ, “The allegations are absolute, utter nonsense.”
And people close to Dr. Murray insist he does not drink … ever.
We’re told the document was served on Dr. Murray on March 27, 2010. According to California law, Joe Jackson must wait 90 days from the date the document is delivered before filing an actual wrongful death lawsuit. The 90-day period is up Friday, the anniversary of Michael’s death.

The lawyer for the Michael Jackson estate thinks the businessman who partnered with Katherine Jackson is hurting Michael’s children — and is threatening legal action if the dude doesn’t stop.
Howard Mann — whose business ventures include online nude gambling — got Katherine Jackson to agree to publish the book, “Never Can Say Goodbye,” scheduled for release this week.
Mann also told TMZ he and Katherine will make record deals for 273 unreleased Michael Jackson songs — part of an MJ treasure trove he acquired in a fire sale after Joe Jackson failed to pay a storage bill.
But estate lawyer Howard Weitzman is ticked, claiming Mann “may be using his relationship with Mrs. Jackson to infringe upon Michael Jackson’s copyrights … to the detriment of, among others, Michael’s 3 kids.”
Weitzman says Mann has no right “to exploit any estate assets” and he will take “whatever action is necessary to prevent him from unlawfully profiting.” TMZ translation — the estate will sue his ass if Mann goes forward.
We’re told Katherine Jackson is happy with the job the executors have done — namely filling the coffers with hundreds of millions of dollars — but sources say family members are in her ear, getting her to sign off on ventures that end up hurting the estate, MJ’s kids, and Katherine herself.

Showdown Between Katherine and MJ Estate

TMZ has learned Katherine Jackson has gone into multiplebusinesses with a man who promotes online nude gambling — and the stage is now set for a showdown between Katherine and the Michael Jackson estate.
Katherine met Howard Mann five months ago. We’re told she instantly liked him, began inviting him to her grandson’s basketball games and other events, and then they started talking about publishing a book.
The book — “Never Can Say Goodbye: The Katherine Jackson Archives” — is being published this week and sold online at www.jacksonsecretvault.com.
But there’s more. Mann tells us he and Katherine are producing a biopic on Katherine Jackson’s life. And he says they’re going into business to sell 273 unreleased MJ tracks. Mann bought a storage locker owned by the Jackson family after they didn’t pay the storage bill. There was a treasure trove of stuff in the locker, including the 273 tracks, along with 19,800 photos.
But we’ve learned the Michael Jackson estate is drawing a line in the sand. Estate lawyer Howard Weitzmantells TMZ, “Mr. Mann can listen to the tracks in his living room or play them at cocktail parties, but he has absolutely no right to the intellectual property and has no claim to the music.”

Justice4MJ — the group that previously said nothing will keep them from being at MJ’s tomb on June 25 — has put together a hope chest filled with photos and messages for the King of Pop. A rep for the group says they have hundreds of messages from people all over the world.
The group says they’ve been told by people at Forest Lawn Cemetery the box will be placed on the steps near MJ’s tomb on June 25 — but a rep for Forest Lawn told us that won’t be happening since it’s against the rules.
Sounds like the staff at Forest Lawn might want to sign up for combat pay this week.
Mark Schaffel??? hhmmm, even TMZ finds that rather “curious”…

According to Showbiz411.com, the book will be released next week and is called “Never Can Say Goodbye: The Katherine Jackson Archives.” The book will reportedly consist of photos on one page and Katherine’s thoughts and memories on another … and will be sold through a website, www.jacksonsecretvault.com.
The site also says Katherine gave an interview with former MJ confidante Marc Schaffel in an effort to promote the book — a curious decision because Schaffel was heavily involved in Michael’s life at one point, but the two had a huge falling out which resulted in several lawsuits.
As we first reported, Katherine plans on taking Michael’s kids — Prince, Paris, and Blanket — to Michael’s hometown of Gary, IN on the anniversary of his death.
There’s a new man in Katherine Jackson’s world. Or make that, Mann.
Howard Mann is Mrs. Jackson’s new business partner. He tells me bought the assets of Henry Vaccaro out of bankruptcy, including the New Jersey warehouse filled with Jackson family memorabilia.
The warehouse included many personal items from the family including letters and some things that might caused embarrassment had they made it into an auction.
Mann quickly contacted Mrs. Jackson and made a deal with her. He returned personal possessions, and in exchange started to develop projects. The first is Mrs. Jackson’s book of photographs coming this Monday, called “Never Can Say Goodbye.”
Mnn, who is from Toronto, made his money with online gambling. His 121 Gaming company –described as a celebrity driven, erotic content provider–.got so successful that in 2006 he introduced online “nude” gambling. He created a site called GrandNevada.com and told a gaming website: “Online gaming will never be the same. Why would anyone choose to play against a boring online video based game that could be altered to drastically favor the house? Now people can play real casino games in real time, with real live sexy dealers, just like in a real casino, except at GrandNevada.com, the dealers are either wearing bikinis or are topless.”
Mann continued: “We have booked several adult film stars to deal live and in the proverbial flesh.”
Mann also created Carmen Electra’s Naked Women’s Wrestling league. Unfortunately, that ended in tears. And a lawsuit.
Sadly, GrandNevada.com is no more. I always find out about these things too late!
Since then, Mann says he’s gotten out of that business and turned his 121 Ventures into a high end video production and online company. He’s aiming to take the Jackson site, jacksonsecretvault.com, and create a place where music fans can download their favorite tunes and bands– his own version of ITunes.
TMZ just kill me sometimes, LOL And people keep on reading them and believing every word…lol

Michael Jackson apparently learned a lesson in finances — his kids should not fall victim to consumer temptations that caused Michael himself to teeter on the brink of bankruptcy — this, according to the details of the strings he attached to his children’s inheritance.
News of the World got a copy of the Michael Jackson trust. TMZ broke the story … under the trust the kids would get 40% of Michael’s estate, Kartherine Jackson would get the use of 40% during her lifetime (when she dies the remainder of her share goes to the kids) and the final 20% goes to charity.
Here’s what interesting … that we didn’t know until now. Under the trust, Prince, Paris and Blanket have no control of the money until they are 30 years old … until they turn 30 they just get income — almost like an allowance — determined solely by the trustee. When each of the kids turns 30, the trustees must then give them 1/3 of their share outright. When the kids reach 35, they get 1/2 of their share outright.
At age 40, the kids then get what remains of their share — outright.
As for how much the kids will get, that amount grows every month, as executorsJohn Branca and John McClain wheel and deal in business ventures that include concerts, movies and song releases.

The cemetery where Michael Jackson is entombed is launching a new crackdown on fans — actively removing people hanging out in front of MJ’s mausoleum.
According to sources at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale, security has been informed that MJ fans are no longer permitted to gather on the patio of MJ’s mausoleum. Those who loiter will be asked to leave.
It’s unclear why Forest Lawn is making the move — especially because fans have been visiting the burial site regularly since MJ moved in last year.
And now — with the one-year anniversary of Michael’s death fast approaching — the Justice4MJ fan group is concerned about their plans to gather at the mausoleum on June 25.
A rep for the group tells us they hope Forest Lawn will “take into consideration” the hundreds of fans traveling from all over the world to pay their respects.

The photo below was taken during the emergency, and the video — which shows the woman being wheeled off the plane with Dr. Murray in tow — was shot after the plane made an emergency landing.
The passenger who shot the video tells TMZ after the woman passed out the flight attendants tried in vain to revive her … and that’s when one of them got on the P.A. and asked if a doctor was on board.
The passenger says Dr. Murray walked over to the woman — and several flight attendants thought he was just a regular passenger trying to make his way to the bathroom. We’re told the flight attendants asked Murray to return to his seat … and that’s when he revealed he was an MD.
We’re told Dr. Murray elevated the woman’s feet and found a weak pulse. He asked the passenger who shot the video to help him move the woman to the front of the plane, and that’s where Murray inserted an IV (apparently standard issue for the flight crew) and the woman began responding.
The woman in distress — Sharon Ross — told TMZ when she came to, Dr. Murray said, “You probably know me … I was Michael Jackson‘s doctor.”
